Packers offensive lineman Lane Taylor

Today’s featured Mayfield Sports athlete is Packers offensive lineman Lane Taylor (@lanetaylor65 on twitter). Taylor says his favorite color is green, which is perfect playing for Green Bay. Growing up during youth and high school football some other positions he played were running back, defensive end, and linebacker. He also played other sports including baseball, basketball, soccer, and did the shot put and discus throw. If he weren’t playing football he’d be in real estate. Taylor likes Green Bay because they have the best fans in the word saying that they are everywhere he goes and are always loyal and true. Lastly something unique about him is that he rebuilt a 1972 Chevelle.

Here’s some background information for Lane Taylor. He was born on November 22, 1989 in Arlington, Texas. He attended college at Oklahoma State University where he appeared in 50 games while starting in 47 of those. As a junior he received Honorable Mention All-Big 12 honors and as a senior he received First Team All-Big 12 honors. During these two seasons he started all 24 games at right guard and didn’t give up a single sack over that time. With the Packers he appeared in 10 games in 2013.
