Life Promotions is a non-profit organization reaching more than 500,000 youth each year. For the last 30 years, Bob Lenz, founder and president, has spoken to millions of hurting youth in all 50 states and around the globe, teaching a message of grace and love.

Various speaking topics are provided, including more than 50 public school programs each year that focus on intervention and making positive choices. Faith-based outreaches that teach on the love and grace of God are often provided within the community as well.

Life Promotions continues to build relationships with individuals in schools, churches and organizations to partner together for the cause of reaching youth. We strive to convince youth to live life to the fullest.

Received the Chad Pennington Professional Athlete of the Year award from the Greater Knoxville Sports Hall of Fame in July 2013…High school: Named “Mr. Football” for Class AA in Tennessee as a senior at Alcoa (Tenn.) High…Was part of four consecutive state championship-winning teams at Alcoa, serving as the quarterback as a junior and senior…Earned all-state recognition each of his final two seasons…Rated one of the top 11 prospects in the state by the Orlando Sentinel and was a top-20 selection by Rivals.com…Teams posted a 27-3 mark in his two seasons as quarterback…Completed 89 of 139 passes (64.0 percent) for 1,765 yards, 22 TDs and only two INTs as a senior…Also rushed for 793 yards and 13 TDs on 88 carries (9.0 avg.)…Threw for 1,893 yards, 25 TDs and just four INTs during his junior campaign…Also participated in track all four years and was an all-district selection in basketball as a junior…Competed in the 100- and 200-meter dashes, along with the 4×100 and 4×200 relay teams…Finished third in the state in the 100 his senior year, posting his best time of 10.75 seconds…His 4×100 relay unit finished second in the state his junior year…Also an honor-roll student, was named to Who’s Who Among American High School Students…

Community involvement: In May 2013, traveled the state as part of the Packers’ annual Tailgate Tour, making scheduled and surprise visits to various communities…Started a “Blessings in a Backpack” program at Alcoa (Tenn.) Elementary last offseason and Eisenhower Elementary (Green Bay) this offseason, which gives children who are on free or reduced lunch a backpack full of food for the weekend…Works with Big Brothers Big Sisters locally…Is active with Characters Unite, a national anti-bullying campaign…Attended the annual holiday party for Families of Children with Cancer…Participated in the Green Bay Packers Golf Invitational in Kohler, Wis. …Residence: Alcoa, Tenn.
